Deanna F. Barnds Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deanna F. Barnds of Davenport, Iowa, born in Funk, Nebraska, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Gustafson and Glenda Gustafson (Bottom); her husband William Joseph "W. J." Barnds; and her brother Delwin K. Gustafson. She is survived by: her children, Glenda Harlan (Craig) of Dunlap and W. Kent Barnds (Jennie) of Davenport, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Christina Stegmaier (Trace) of Peoria, Andrea Harlan (Adam DeToni) of Peoria, Martha, Sophie and W. Benjamin Barnds of Davenport. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law; four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Deanna's family encourages memorials to be made to Augustana College, St. Paul Lutheran Church, or the Alzheimer's Association.
