He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Thavenet and Carol Thavenet (Sorensen). He is survived by: his wife Teri (Brower); his children, Jason Thavenet (Jenny), Adam Thavenet (Kelly) and Kylie Hugi (Alex); his grandchildren, Cole, Ava, Maddy, Lincoln, Willow, Taytum, Hudson, Graham and Owen; and his sisters, Diana Jones (Rusty) and Donna Thavenet-Trentman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at DuTrac Community Credit Union in Mike's name to benefit the North Scott Youth Wrestling Club.
