Carlson of Davenport, Iowa, born in Bowdle, South Dakota, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhardt Baer and Lydia Baer (Blumhardt); her husband Martin A. Carlson; and her siblings, Ikey, Mahlon and Duane.

She is survived by: her children, Sandy Scott (Jerry) of Hannibal, MO, Sharon Jund (Mike) and Deb Cochuyt (Al) of Coal Valley, IL; her grandchildren, Jerilyn, James, Timothy, Troy, Mic, Alice, Bonnie, Joe, Ben, Scott, Amber and Brian; and also Quentin Baer (Connie) of Hazen, ND.. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren.
