She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Taylor and Belva Taylor (Hall); her husband Earl J. Stroops of John's United Methodist Church; her son-in-law Sam Hungate; and her siblings, Betty Gustafson, Earl Taylor, Phyllis Dunsworth, Roy Taylor, Dan Taylor and Louise Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hungate of Davenport and Bradley Stroops (Wendy) of Davenport; her grandchildren, Megan Wiebler (Chris), Nick Hungate, Nathan Hungate (Jen), Beth Dayal (Jai) and Katherine Gorania; her great grandchildren, Reighlynn, Thomas, Jace, Blake, Connor, Logan, Anik, Emma, Damien and Vivian; and her sister Joyce Jeffries.
