He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ammerman and Viola Ammerman (Jordan); his wife Judy K. Gomez; his sisters, Diana Duncan, Judy Mauk and Gloria Ammerman; his son-in-law Tony LeCleir; his brothers-in-law, Robert Brewer, William Gomez and Junior Mauk; and his pet Snuffy.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy LeCleir of Davenport and Christine Chandler (Patrick) of Erie, Illinois; his grandchildren, Angie Borgeson (Kristen) of Phoenix, Arizona and Kayla DeMarlie of Silvis; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Chandler (Delainey) of Cordova, Brooke Chandler (Max Morlock) of Nashville, Dylan Bomleny (Andrew) of Fenton, Shawn Chandler of Erie and Matthew Powell (Jessica DeWitte) of Moline; his great grandchildren, Mya, Macie and Baylor DeMarlie; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Matthew Powell Jr., Alliaha Powell, Xzayvier Powell, Marcus Bomleny and Dawson Chandler; his sisters, Sharon Brewer of Iowa and Joy Kern (David) of Texas; his siblings-in-law, Val Gomez of Illinois, Daniel Gomez (LeaAnn) of Illinois and Anthony Gomez (Linda) of Illinois; his close friends, Mark and Wendy Coggins of San Angelo, Texas.; and his caregivers, Patrick, Darcy and Jade.
