He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bockenfeld and Cecelia Bockenfeld (Mandel); his wife Barbara Webb; his son Francis William "Skip" Bockenfeld, Jr.; and his siblings, Louis "Bud" Bockenfeld, Mary Laugen and Richard "Dick" Bockenfeld.
He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Smith; his daughter Bonnie K. Wills; his grandchildren, Tarrah Beard (Jared), Selah Baldwin (Satch) and Elikah Wills (Maximilliano Rodriguez); his great grandchildren, Hannah Beard, Colton Beard, Finley Rae Kelley, Micah Rodriguez and Genevieve; and his siblings, Delores Saling and Robert "Bob" Bockenfeld.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
