He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Francis and Lula Pearl Stolley (King); his wife Barbara Jane Panther; his son Kenton Mack Stolley; his siblings, Jack, Muriel, Mary, Edward, Linda, Patricia and Jacqueline; and his close friend Tom Otting.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Schiefelbein (Eric); his grandchildren, Olivia Ritter (Jake) of Winterset, Elizabeth Schiefelbein of Winterset, Mack Stolley (Maura Smith) of Iowa City, Samuel Stolley of Iowa City and Mary Claire Stolley; his great grandchildren, Nathan and Abigail Ritter; and his sisters, Christine McMahon and Deborah McClanahan (Dave).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (3209 60th St, Moline, IL 61265). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the National Cemetery Rodman Ave.
Memorials may be made in Gary's honor to Empowering Abilities (formerly Handicapped Development Center) or Christ the King Catholic Church.
