He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Welch and Elaine Welch (Kent); his wife Barbara Isham; his brothers, Robert "Bob" Welch and Dennis Welch; his sister-in-law Victoria "Vicky" Welch; his stepchildren, John Miller, Kimbra Miller, Penny Wyatt, Mary Rameriz and Creighton Miller; and his close friend Heidi Cruson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Broderson (Bob) of Springfield, MO, Ron Welch (Darrene) of Davenport, IA, Don Welch of Hudson, FL, Sharon Wakeland (John Wells) of Savannah, GA, Joyce Bettis (Steve) of Bettendorf, IA, Dave Welch (Lynn) of Eldridge, IA, Roger Welch (Deanna) of Mechanicsville, IA and Randy Welch of Davenport, IA; his stepchildren, Ron "Bubby" Miller of Davenport, IA, Allison "Janie" Johnson of Davenport, IA and Judy McGill of Davenport, IA; and his stepgranddaughter Amber Glover (Terrez) of Davenport, IA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to David Welch for a fund to be established.
