She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Elliott and Leora E. Elliott (Chandler); her stepfather Carl Brose; and her siblings, William Elliott and Shirley McMahon.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Spoo; her daughters, Tammy Hittie (Scott) of Cedar Rapids, Lori Swalley (Robert) of Cuba City, WI and Regina Hyde of Davenport; her grandchildren, Christina, Sarah, Shelby, Katrina, Ashley, Shana, Brian, Ariel, Trudy, McKayla and Andrew; and her sisters, Mary Bernauer of Davenport, Teresa Dickson of Tama, IA and Junie Hackett of Cedar Rapids.
