She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Hurt and Lucille Hurt (Foster); her husband Kent L. Bowers; and her siblings, Joe Hurt, Elmer Hurt, Lester Hurt, Floyd Hurt, Howard Hurt, James Hurt, Franklin Hurt and Dorothy Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Davis (Dave) of Rock Island, Melissa Boone (Jim Moreno) of Bettendorf and Stacey Zindel (Scott) of Davenport; her grandchildren, Sara Toliver (Mike) of Bettendorf, Kent Boone (Christina) of Davenport and Stephanie Knutson (K. C.); and her great grandchildren, Henry Toliver, Gauge "Monte" Boone, Daniella Boone and Libby Knutson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bix Biederbecke Memorial Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
