He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James L. Stechelman and Lorna J. Van Stechelman (Bland); his wife Pamela Ann (Josephson); his stepdaughter Carrie; his son-in-law George Menke; his granddaughters, Brooke of Davenport and Camryn Menke of Davenport; his sisters, Heather Lazzara (Jason), Holly Matznick (Andy) and Arizona; his brother-in-law Larry Josephson; and his nieces and nephews, Olivia, Nate Lazzara, Anna, Abe Matznick, Van Stechelman, Taets and Johnson.

Memorials may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida where Greg was originally treated.
