He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Scherer and Francis Scherer; and his siblings, Ruth, Edward and Dale.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Schnoor; his daughters, Carol Klindt (Harvey) and Donna Carter (Brian); his grandchildren, David Klindt, Daniel Klindt (Jennifer), Sarah Sunderbruch (Michael) and Tyler Carter; his great grandchildren, Kylie Klindt and Andrew Klindt; and his close friend Jim Bayles.
