With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Pitzer of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Pitzer to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Irene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Irene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Pitzer and Alice Pitzer (Bryson); and her close friends, Amber Woodman and Susan Lorenz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (417 Main St, Davenport, IA 52801). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (804 E 39th St, Davenport, IA 52807). She was also a volunteer with Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and served at many children's activities.
Memorials may be made to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
