It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joseph McManus of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Coen and Joseph McManus; his wives, Mary Catherine Donahue and Mary Savely; his siblings, John P. McManus, Margaret M. Roth, Mary Kenny and John E. McManus; his aunt Mary Coen; and his parents-in-law, Agnella and Edward Donahue.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Beirne (Daniel), Sheila, Edward (Kathryn), Gerard (Kristine), Cletus, Regina Gelhaus (John) and Liam (Colleen); his grandchildren, Eion, Ruth, Maeve, Charlotte, McKinley, Declan, Jackson, Noah, Reagan, Sophie, Delaney, Erin, Quinn, Ross, Fiona, Finn, Rory, Neve, Mitchell, Joseph, Bentley, Katie, Hannah and Andrew; and also, Peter Savely, Michael Savely (Cindy) and Sharon Lantzky (James).
