He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Orr (Gavin) and Loras Orr; his siblings, John Orr (Jack) and Mary Eloise Funk; and his siblings-in-law, Decker Ploehn, Richard "Dick" Funk, Gene Oliver and Jane Orr.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Maher; his sisters, Sarah Ploehn and Kathryn Ann Oliver; and his sister-in-law Micheleen Maher. He is also survived by twenty-four nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.
