He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Sanger and Helen Sanger (Stender); his mother-in-law Sara Gavin; his son James Sanger Jr. (Sara) of Davenport; his grandsons, Owen and Noah Sanger of Davenport; and his brothers, Kenny Sanger of Maquoketa, Don Sanger (Pam) of Marion, IA, Gary Sanger (Brenda) of Maquoketa and Dennis Sanger of Maquoketa.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carson Celebration (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
