She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Smith and Evelyn McCullough Smith; her husband Paul; and her stepson James Durham. She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Claire, Kate and Graham; her daughters, Julie Hackbarth (James) of Eldridge, IA and Linda Booth (Jeff); and her stepdaughters, Linda Bloome (Terry) of Plainfield, IL, Susan Paradiso (Philip) of Dubuque and Nancy Fisher (Terry) of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by grandchildren; and 16 cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
