Jean J. Schaeffer Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 23, 2022, at the age of 96, Jean J. Schaeffer of Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Janssen and Mary Janssen (Ebert); her husband Albert Schaeffer; her son James Albert Schaeffer; and her siblings, Dorothy, Verna, Margaret, Marie, Kathleen, George and Harry.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Murphy (Moline), Barbara (Michael Sarich), Mary (Gary Garretson), Rosemary Schaeffer, William (Karen Schaeffer) of Davenport, Donald (Michelle Schaeffer) of Davenport, Robert Schaeffer of Davenport and Richard Schaeffer of Davenport. She is also survived by 19 loving grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
