With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome Claussen (Davenport, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claussen and Hattie Claussen (Schroeder); his sister Marsha Woleshin (Tom) of Fernandina Beach, FL; and his former spouse Mardelle. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jurgens; his caregiver Sharon; his daughters, Diane Surom (Corey) of Atkins, IA and Linda Peyton (Bradley) of Marion, IA; his grandchildren, Megan Mullan, Nicole Becker (Matt), Natalie Ginty (Mike) and Noah Peyton; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Becker, Emma Becker and Magnolia Ginty.
