He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Awbrey and Alberta Awbrey; his brother Dave Awbrey; his sister-in-law Karen Awbrey; his sister Jane Awbrey; and his granddaughter Charly Erpelding.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee; his daughters, Tammy Tucker (Jason), Tina Hoefer (Jim), Tancy Lukehart (Vern), Tara Erpelding (Andy) and Terrie Stald (Ed); and his grandchildren, Tia Henson (Kendall), Taren Bowen (Chase), Aubrey Vinklarek (Logan), Anna Morrow (Kelton), Nick Hoefer, Maddy Hoefer (Zane Grell), MacKenzie Engelhardt (Tyler), Trey Lukehart, Jack Lukehart, Will Erpelding, Baylie Stald and Grant Stald. He is also survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, 5 daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
