It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Carla Sangster Dominguez of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Sangster (Shimkus) and Edward Sangster; and her brother Leonard Sangster. She is survived by: her children, Jorge Dominguez (Audreanna) of Davenport, Sandra Davis of Marion, Josue Dominguez (Elizabeth) of Rock Island, Adrian Dominguez (Brittany) of Winfield and Rebecca Dominguez of Davenport; her grandchildren, Isaac, Israel, Ariah, Grace Dominguez, Kingston, Acey Davis, Amaeyah, Jahliyah, Colettah, Camilah Dominguez, Lilliana and Jakkeme Michaels; her siblings, Deborah Whitley, Osbee Sangster, Clancy Davis, Barbara Jones and Joyce Lomax; and her stepsiblings, Lynwood and Prissy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Moline (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265).
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Joann's memory.
