He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bauer and Edna Mae Bauer (Herzberg); and his brothers, Kenneth L, Charles R and David E. Bauer of Walcott, IA..
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin S. Bauer, Rhiannon N. Bauer-Wiederin (Dave) and Joshua J. Bauer of Davenport, IA; his siblings, Robert A, Donna J. Wulf of New Liberty, IA and Nancy J. West; and his granddaughter Meckenzie Bauer-Myers.
