He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberta Young (McCoy) and William Young Sr.; his siblings, Lettie M. Johnson (Young), William Young Jr., Timothy L. Jackson and Donald Young; and his former wife Carrie M. Young (Hubbard).
He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Young (Taylor); his sister Carolyn D. Young; his children, Janice Young McCann, Jasmin Young, John A. Young, Jason Young, Jake Young (Anitra), Julian Young (Chontea), Antonio Singleton, Dominique Singleton, Cameron Singleton and Charles Singleton; and his goddaughter Nicole Easley.
