With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Raap of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raap and Margaret Raap (Paustian); his wife Hilda A. Raap; and his siblings, Bud Raap, Juanita Van Alstine, Jean Raymond, Billy and Betty.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa King (Bob) of Davenport, IA, Mary Fox (Danny) of Waukee, IA and William Raap (Cindy) of Walcott, IA; his grandchildren, Mike King (Barb), Ami Fox, Melissa King, Sarah Rasler (Jon), Todd Fox (Erika), Jill Donoho (Eric) and Kevin Raap (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Gavin King, Addison, Hayden Rasler, Daniel Fox, Levi, Miles Raap and Connor Donoho.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Ridgecrest Foundation, Hospice Compassus, or River Bend Food Bank.
