John Riepe Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Riepe of Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Riepe and Evelyn Hedgepeth (Smull); his wife Suzanne Hueser; his children, Tara Newbury (Ken) and Kyle Riepe (Brianna); his grandchildren, Jacob Newbury, Tyler Newbury, Shaelyn Riepe (Tyler Jakubowski), Kyle Riepe Jr., Teagan Riepe, Luca Riepe, Rocco Riepe and Ellie Riepe; his siblings, Phyllis Wolters (Bill), Scott Riepe (Nancy), Colleen Holdorf, Kathie Hedgepeth and Kevin Hedgepeth; and his stepfather Bill Hedgepeth.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
