He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gosma and Helen Stutz Gosma. He is survived by: his wife Heather of Davenport; his daughters, Elizabeth Gosma (Charles Abplanalp), Emily Stoops (Anthony) and Sarah Helfrich (Matthew); his grandchildren, Lauren Burseth (Danny), Jonathan Abplanalp (Katy), Cameron Abplanalp, Madelyn Parker, Ava Helfrich, Noah Parker, Henry Stoops, Sophia Stoops, Paige Helfrich and Benjamin Parker; and his siblings, James Gosma (Debbie), Jane Reitz (John) and Julie Irish (Jim).
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Quad City Symphony Orchestra, Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, and can be mailed to Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., Davenport, IA 52803.
