He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Watt and Ilene Watt (Stewart); his brothers, Stewart and Phillip Watt; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Watt.
He is survived by: his wife Janis F. Shipley; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Chuck Ruth of Ely, Iowa; his son Steve Watt of Davenport; his grandchildren, Chad Ruth (Meghan), Cara Murguia (Zack), David Watt (Candace) and Allyson Leach (Tony); his sister Kathleen Kitterman of Florida; and his brother-in-law Bill Shipley (Polly) of St. Paul, Missouri..
