He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Verre and Atelia Verre (Cencetti); his daughters, Cynthia Verre and Christine; his grandson Jeremiah Verre; and his siblings, Roy, Pearl and Leo.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice (Hopewell); his son Steve Verre; his grandchildren, Destiny Puente (Andrew) of Naperville, IL, Josh Verre (Katie) of Neeses, SC and Samuel Gonzales (Valerie); his granddaughter-in-law Jessica Verre; his great grandchildren, Miles Verre, Rory Vogt, Joseph, Ty Puente, John, Katie Verre, Milo and Maverick Gonzales; and his nephews, John Faramelli and Jim Faramelli (Cathy) of Rock Island.
