He is survived by: his wife Karen Lewis; his children, Trish Jones (Joshua), Keith Byars, Jr. and Bryan Byars; his grandchildren, Michael Cross-Byars, Katie Green (Javon), Maria Ratliff (Nehemiah), Brandon Jasso, Nickolas Byars, Elisabeth Byars, Meghan Byars and Shannon Ayers; his great grandchildren, Alaysia Green, Ava Green, Jalen Green, Gabriella Ratliff, Camden Ruddy, Sophia Cross, Nolan Cross, Madison Cross, Hannah Cross, Nathan Akright, Jr., Lilyanna Akright and Wyatt Douglas; and his brothers, Brad Byars (Darla Strombeck) and Larry Byars (Barb).
