He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Henry and Eva Ruth Meyer (Valley); and his sisters, Evelyn and Betty. He is survived by: his wife Mary Josephine Cardenzana; his sons, Shawn Meyer (Kelly) and Seth Meyer (Phousavanh Sengsavanh); his granddaughter Josephine Meyer; his former wife Mary Jo Weber; and his brother Dean Meyer (Kathy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midwest Writing Center or Nahant Marsh.
