She was predeceased by : her parents, James Simmons and Catherine Simmons (McCubbins); and her husband Don Huff of Mark's Lutheran Church. She is survived by : her sons, Gary Huff (Barbara) and David Huff (Kathryn).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Weerts Funeral Home (3625 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
