He is survived by: his significant other Sarah Quinn-Pernell; his children, Ruby "Dee Dee" Sanders, Lawrence "Gangster" Pernell Jr. (Julie), Anissa Quinn, Lashawn "Tweety" Pernell, Dashawn "Dooney" Pernell, Shawana Quinn, Taneka "Smurf" Pernell and Shaneka "Big Red" Pernell; and his siblings, Tommy Pernell of Greenwood, MS and Sharen Pernell-Gipson (Ronnie) of Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
