He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kirchhoff and Viola Kirchhoff (Peterson). He is survived by: his wife June Kincaid; his children, Linda Thompson, Leland Thompson Jr., Sandra Grell and Connie Mangler; and his siblings, Lucy Melvin and Paul Thompson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
