He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Ritz and Elva F. Ritz (Pilcher); his wife Betty Lou Rhoades; his son-in-law John Patterson; his granddaughter Alishia; his great grandchild Tasha; and his brother-in-law Bob Caudill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Phillips (Bob) of Davenport, Regina Patterson of Davenport, Karen Lovedy of Davenport, Rhonda Sampica (JD) of Moline and Pamela Ritz (Melvin) of Davenport; and his sister Linda Caudill.
