We announce the death of Linda M. Kerch of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 81. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Marshall and Opal Leota Nichols (Bennett); her siblings, Wesley, Ray Nichols and Jane Mathey; and her nieces, Wendy and Dee Mathey.
She is survived by: her husband James; and her nieces and nephews, Cindy Hamann, Melinda, Williams, Chavonnah Mathey (Mike Whitcanack), Lily Voeckler, Jake Hamann, Courtney Hamann, Jenny Masterson (Zach), Brandon Williams, Caleb Dodds, Marsha Nichols, Mike, Nancy Nichols, Mitch Nichols, Jodi Nichols Hulse, Terri Nichols and Sherrie Nichols.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (3775 Middle Rd, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the church or Lutheran Braille Workers.
