He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Oberman and Ardele Oberman (Brooke); and his sister-in-law Charlene. He is survived by: his wife Cora Egbert; his pet Simba; his daughters, Angela Kivlin and Melissa Oberman; his grandchildren, Allison Arvanis (Stephen), Katelynn Smith (Joe) and Rachel Cottrell; his great grandchildren, Eisley, Ezra, Rose, Maggie, Miriam Cooper, Thomas and Elliott; and his siblings, Kenny Oberman, Barb Mussman and Carl Oberman (Joyce).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
