She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond J. Cronin and Marie Cronin (Conway); her husband Jim; her grandson Braddock Shovlain; her siblings, Rose Sylvester, Jim and Joe Cronin; and her parents-in-law, Lloyd Sylvester, Ed, Joyce Shovlain, Mary Fitzpatrick, Helen, Tom Kreber, Pat Shovlain and Virgene McManus.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Shovlain (Betsy), Mike Shovlain (Julie), Joe Shovlain (Lynne), Clinton, Dave Shovlain (Renee), Marianne Dowd (Tom) of Des Moines and Kathleen McNeal (Ken) of Des Moines; her brother Jack Cronin; her parents-in-law, Peg Cronin, Ft Dodge, Harold Fitzpatrick, Pat McManus and Marge Shovlain; and her grandchildren, Katelyn, Sean Shovlain (Ray), Matt (Lauren), Daniel Shovlain (Mike), Steven Shovlain (Christy), Jackie Besch (Jason), Shannon (Jared), Voss (Joe), Staci Dunn (Mike), Lex (Kelsy), Jake (Katie), Abby Dowd (Marianne), Sam (Mary), Ben (Taylor), Molly McNeal (Kathleen), Keegan, Braylon and Cale Shovlain (Dave). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her parish, Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
