She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hicks and Mildred Hicks; her husband Keith Mitchell; her son Vincent Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Donna Durbin Mitchell; her granddaughters, Kourtni and Susie Mitchell; and her siblings, George Hicks, Marcia "Susie" Hicks and Frances Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Denice Mitchell, James "Jim" Mitchell (Amy) and Sharon "Sherry" Mitchell; her grandchildren, Jayme Anderson (Jon), Nicholaus "Nick" Mitchell, Chaz Schrupp (Samantha), Noah Mitchell (Sarah Sheahan), Katie Rumppe (Dave), Dylan Mitchell (Alysha), Korbin Denton (Erica Moeller) and Calli Stuart; her great grandchildren, Graysen, Lucas Anderson, Deklan, Lakken Schrupp, Isla, Maverick Mitchell and Kinlee Denton; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Hatcher, Helen Hicks, Thomas "Tommy" Hicks, Josephine "Josie" Hicks, William "Billy" Hicks and Kelly Hicks.
After her retirement from an accounting and bookkeeping career, Margie was a dedicated volunteer, devoting 17 years of service to the CASA program, as well as years to organizations including the Citizen Foster Care Review Board and RSVP.
