He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Marie Garnica and Joseph G. Garnica; his sister Gabriela M. Shepard; and his brother-in-law Daniel Winders. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Marie (Winders-Doughty); his stepchildren, Jamie Doughty and Timothy Jones (TJ); his granddaughter Sidney Jones; his brother Greg; his sisters-in-law, Pam, Karen and Barbara; his brothers, Carl Garnica and Michael; his sister-in-law Tonya; his sister Marcia (Scott Booth); and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Winders, Lynn Winders, Debbie Weis, Shelley Winders, Danny, Teri Malloy and Tim Winders.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
