She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Henklemann and Martha Henklemann (Rosler); and her siblings, Aurelia Krebs, Lena Bauer, Ingrid Reitze, Ilse Reim, Herta Kreutzma and Norbert Henkelmann.

She is survived by: her husband Arthur Loewen; her children, Doris Garrand (Kevin), Susan Loewen, Lisa Loewen and Curtis Loewen (Ann); her grandchildren, Camron Loewen (Meara), Kristen Loewen and Catherine Loewen; and her sister Helga Wolske.

Memorials may be made to First Evangelical Free Church, American Heart Association, or to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
