It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin E. Oberhaus of Davenport, Iowa, born in Balltown, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bleile and Loretta Bleile (Hinde); his foster father William Oberhaus; his wife Joann Rauch; his granddaughter Brittany; and his siblings, Earl Oberhaus, Bernice Bleile, Darlene Bleile and Louella Rosa.

He is survived by : his children, Vicki Kohl (Jim) of Davenport, Deb Viren (Vince) of Davenport, Mark Oberhaus (Denise) of Davenport, Tracy Harris (Jeff) and Eldridge.

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
