He was predeceased by: his father Lionel Hermiston; his brother-in-law Thomas Hinds; and his aunts and uncles, Beverly, Franklin Sommer, Keith Drake, Duane Christiansen and Ronald Slisz.
He is survived by: his mother Sandy; his siblings, Julie Hinds of DeWitt, Ronald Hermiston (Jill) of Wheatland, Donald Hermiston (Joanne) of Donahue, Debra Hermiston of Spring Valley, James Hermiston (Lisa Ricker) of Eldridge, Kent Hermiston (Tracey Pike) of Mechanicsville and Neal Hermiston of Donahue; his uncle John Hermiston (Charlene) of Blue Grass; and his aunts, Ruth Drake of Davenport, LaDean Christiansen of Davenport, Doris Bennett (Ralph) of Davenport and Patricia Kay Slisz of Lake Villa, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Andrew Catholic Church or the Bull Terrier Club of America Rescue in his memory.
