He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Sherwood and Patricia Fischer (English); and his mother-in-law Helen Schamp. He is survived by: his wife Gale Schamp; his children, Deanna Sherwood (Jim Bingham) of Marion, IA, Derek Sherwood (Mindi) and Michael B. Sherwood; and his brother Gary. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807).
