He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schulz and Elva Schulz (Dyer); his former wife Christine K. Moritz; and his sisters, Judy and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Proesch; his son Michael Paul Schulz (Michelle); his brothers, Tom of Davenport, Jerry (Ginger) of Davenport and Steve Schulz of Davenport; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Lynn Moritz. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
