It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nancy Jean Baker (Davenport, Iowa), who passed away at the age of 63, on May 20, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Baker; her daughter Katy Baker; and her siblings, Johnny Pelzel of McAlester, Michael Pelzel of Ankeny and Connie Westerhof (Pelzel) of Merrimack. She is also survived by extended family; dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in her honor may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center Milan, IL.
