She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Westphalen and Artelda Westphalen (Meyers); her husband Eugene A. Stanger Sr.; and her son Eugene A. Stanger Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Voigt, Betty Coon, Peggy Galarza, Goldie Baumer and Dawn Holtorf. She is also survived by grandkids; brother; and sister.

“So very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing today. I was away in late January & missed some of my online newspapers. I got to know Nancy and Gene first in 2017 when I was campaigning for alderman. We sat on the deck & they kindly allowed me to post campaign signs from that point. Visiting with Nancy, & also Gene in the beginning, became an early campaign ritual. I was happy to be able to assist her with neighborhood issues & deck issues. My deepest condolences to all of you. Love, Marion Meginnis”
