She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Reeves and Pearl Reeves (Power); and her husband Dick Smith. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Evans (Jim), Nancy Soedt (Gary) and Jim Smith (Terri); her grandchildren, Ty Evans (Sadie), Ryan Soedt (Kristina), Cody Smith (Kaitlin), Lauren Kindelsperger (Jacob), Cali Carter (Brad) and Gena Soedt; her sister Leona Pierschbacher; and her brother-in-law Ron Reed of Osceola. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Riverbend Food Bank.
