She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kernan and Phyllis "Mimi" Kernan (Merriman); her daughter Christine Gahagan; her siblings, Adele Carlson and Dennis Powers; and her stepfather Loras Powers.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Dalee (Patrick) of Ventura, CA, Gary Hughes (Caroline) of Bettendorf and Mark Hughes (Carol) of Davenport; and her brother Mike Powers (Coky) of Davenport. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter.
