We bid farewell to Paul F. Shima (Davenport, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 8, 2025 at the age of 63. Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Alfred and Delores Ann Shima (Stahle); his wife Theresa Benson; his children, Spencer Shima (Long Grove) and Katelyn Warner (Eldridge); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, Gracie and Briggs; his sisters, Tammy Saskowski (Dale), Mary Maloney (Dan) and Theresa Shaw; his father-in-law Gerald Benson; and his brother-in-law Mike Benson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (16550 290th St, Long Grove, IA 52756). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Eldridge Volunteer Fire Department and Eldridge EMS.
