She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse D. Reed and Ada Scott Reed; her son David Lee Henson; her sister Willa Jean Kline; her brother-in-law Bob Kline; and her brother Earl Dean Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Bennett of Lebanon, Missouri; her daughters, Karen Williams of Lebanon and Patricia Forsythe (Brett) of Farmington, Missouri; her stepdaughter Sherri Meadows; and her sister Judy Lowe (Robin) of Osage Beach, Missouri. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Gideon's and donations may be left at the funeral home.
